Appearances

Alfred makes only one appearance, in Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. Alfred in Chapter 2 Law is escorting a captured Ravness Loxaerion to face trial and execution. While traveling down the Reisan Way, Alfred comes into a dispute with one of his knights on whether to simply dispose of Ravness now instead of transporting her all the way to Coritanae. Before a conclusion can be reached, Denam and his forces come across Sir Alfred and his party, initiating a battle between the two factions. Sir Alfred is killed and his forces dispersed.

Alfred doesn't make any appearences in the Chaos path of the story. He likely perished battling the Walister in defense of Coritanae Keep.

Galgastani Knight: The road to Coritanae is long. Why take her all that way? She's for the gallows at any rate. I say we have done with it here and now!

'Orders is orders. Commander Loxaerion is to have a proper hearing before her justice is meted out.'

Galgastani Knight: And is it not some opposition nobleman who spares her? Why do you suppose they go to such lengths to keep her from harm?

'They say there's Galgastani blood in her. Might be that blood is bluer than most.'

Galgastani Knight: Then her crime is twofold, for she is a kinslayer besides! I see no Galgastani before me - only a Walister knight!

Ravness: The Walister name me a Galgastani traitor, while the Galgastani claim I am a Walister Knight. Enemy to all and friend to none. The Galgastani can't so much as escort a prisoner without a quarrel. No wonder the country splits in two.

'Silence her!'

[A soldiers smacks Ravness]

'I'll have a much easier time guarding you if you would guard your tongue. It'll mean my neck if I don't bring you back safe to Coritanae.'

[A soldier approaches Sir Alfred]

Galgastani Soldier: Sir Alfred, it's the Walister!

Ravness: Now's my chance...

'What? How!?'

Denam: Is that... Ravness?

[Ravness makes a break for it]

Galgastani Knight: Damned woman!

'She's sealed her own fate. We've cause enough to kill her now. Kill kinslayer and rebels all!'

- Upon Death -

'Should have... killed her while I... had the chance.'
